Today was our Father’s Day assembly and we celebrated and said thanks to our fathers through the medium of poetry! Each year group in the school learnt a poem, practised excellently and recited it in front of the whole school, families and of course our wonderful fathers. Roshni in Year 6 said, “I thought everyone worked really hard and well for reading a poem for their fathers. The fathers really appreciated the children putting an amalgamation of effort in, also the children appreciated the fact that the fathers could attend our assembly. ” Thank you to all of you for attending – especially our fathers
